The Indian team's loss at the hands of mighty Australia in the 2023 World Cup final didn't go well with many, right from ardent supporters to former players, who are coming up with different theories, as they have not been able to digest the outcome. Ironically, Australia lost the first two matches and then went on to win the remaining nine to lift the World Cup for the record sixth time, while India registered 10 straight victories in commanding fashion before losing to the Aussies in the final.
