'Out of this world': In a first, ODI World Cup trophy tours space

The ICC ODI World Cup Trophy Tour kicked off in a spectacular fashion as the coveted silverware became the first official sporting trophies to be sent to space. Launched into the stratosphere, 120,000 feet above the earth, the trophy landed at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. The feat was achieved with the World Cup Trophy attached to a bespoke stratospheric balloon.
